On February 9, 2018, criminal defense lawyer A. Antonio Tomas was named to the 2018 list of America’s Top 100 Criminal Defense Attorneys®. The selection process for America’s Top 100 Criminal Defense Attorneys® is an intricate processes. The attorney must first be identified by peer nomination from a current or previous Top 100 recipient, or through third-party research. This third-party research identifies the desired qualities of a Top 100 recipient using an algorithm that includes experience, successful verdicts and case results, client satisfaction, community involvement, and more.

After the initial analysis, lawyers are compared based on their quantitative scores. Through this Qualitative Comparative Analysis, the list of America’s Top 100 Criminal Defense Attorneys® is created.

This multi-phase process does not include room for opinion or personal preference, thus ensuring accurate results. As each lawyer must succeed in each category of this selection process, no attorney in consideration can influence the selections through any other means. The attorney selected must go above and beyond all standards in each phase in order to be considered for a Top 100 membership.
